Thanks to the innovative Docker technology the full system can be installed or updated within several minutes, regardless of the operating system. PSIasm seamlessly integrates with external system and supports PostgreSQL, Oracle and MS SQL databases, and can be expanded to use other database systems.
With PSIasm one can select any technology to connect to the customer’s ERP system. We have introduced many innovative solutions into the system to speed the integration process by even 80% compared to the standard approach (e.g. open interfaces, building logic in a running application, well-developed data mapping and transformation capabilities).
Thanks to in-memory computing and cached client applications the application is one of the fastest on the market. For example, it takes a mere 15 minutes to import 500,000 records, data is exchanged with the shop floor every minute, up to 50 users can use the planning dashboard simultaneously, automatic planning of 20,000 operations takes only 3 minutes.
A system user can select Polish, German, English and Chinese as the system language. New languages can be also uploaded and there is functionality for the end user to correct translation.
During the application’s implementation process we define the scope of data to be imported from ERP systems and create the data generation logic in PSIasm. On a standard basis we provide training and workshops for our Customer’s ERP consultants and IT departments, so as to work out the cheapest and fastest way of integrating systems for the Customer.
Close collaboration with the Customer forms the basis of any business. Due to the nature of our organization we respond to Customer issues in a flexible way and perform implementations reliably. A group of 150 programmers in Poland and a team of consultants staying in touch with the Customer are responsible for tailoring our system to our Customer’s production process needs.
The system can be used simultaneous by even 50 planners performing production operations. A change made by one planner is synchronized in real time with other users. Additionally, each user can see which operations are presently in the area of interest of a different planner (operations are highlighted with a frame with the user’s login). Planners can see a schedule for the whole plant, but planning can be limited to e.g. individual machines as well.
The system provides for the following strategies: planning by latest order delivery date (to minimize inventory), planning by earliest dates (to maximize machine efficiency), as well as optimistic, neutral and pessimistic schedule updating. In addition, each planning strategy has a set of internal criteria.
