Under the contract, PSI will replace a number of existing systems from various provid-ers with a single SCADA solution which will cover all PSG organisational units located all around the country. The new SCADA system will operate based on redundancy, covering two geographically dispersed data centres.
Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, member of the PGNIG Group, is Europe’s largest gas dis-tribution system operator. PSG ensures safe transmission of gaseous fuels via a distri-bution network throughout the country directly to end users, and handles the meas-urements of gas quality and volume.
The contract was signed on March 6th 2020 and provides for the roll-out of SCADA over a period of 36 months, followed by a 5-year system maintenance phase.
