It has become a tradition, that MPK Poznań organizes competitions for its employees, in order to identify best tram and bus drivers. Competitions are held every year (once a year for bus and tram drivers). Final stage of tram driver competition was played at 3rd of October.
Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne (Poznań Public Transport Company) is one of the largest public transport carriers in Poland. Company runs a fleet of few hundred of vehicles, and has about 1300 tram and bus drivers. Finals of latest edition took place at Franowo tram depot. PSI Poland was one of the sponsors and gave the first prize for the winner. The best tram driver in MPK AD2015 became Tomasz Borowicz. Although he works as a driver only for one year, he was the best at theoretical exercises, special observations at work, and finally – practical tasks. In the final, Tomasz overtook two ladies: Katarzyna Pierzyńska and Agata Zoran. Tomasz Borowicz received the special award from hands of Arkadiusz Niemira, CEO of PSI Poland.
