The live demonstration shows a practical AutoID application of the Internet of Things (IoT) for efficient material and replenishment management. IoT chips make it possible to collect data via the cloud, to track and manage parking spaces in PSI's own data center. An integrated sensor system allows, in addition to tracking the delivery of level messages, an automated triggering of the production feed in real-time.
Furthermore, services for Application Management Services (AMS) from the cloud are presented, for example, how PSI Logistics takes over operation and application maintenance of PSIwms, including monitoring via cloud, for a customer in its data center.
For the first time PSIwms 2018 and PSIglobal 2018 will be shown with new features in the current release versions. Other highlights include a showcase with the digital voice control assistant "Amazon Alexa" via the PSI cloud and a new app for integrating augmented reality (AR) into warehousing. The integration of both technologies in the PSIwms opens up a new dimension of communication during order picking.
