Having examined the proposals and consulted the suppliers of warehouse management solutions, Empik decided to sign the contract with PSI Polska. PSIwms will support dynamic growth in retail sales in Empik chain stores and its online channel.
- PSIwms, which comes with a Smart Move technology, is a state-of-the-art warehouse management system which enables the user to define and automate clear-cut warehouse processes. The system is highly configurable to meet the company’s needs in keeping with growing sales volumes - said Piotr Picyk, PSI’s Sales Director.
PSIwms is designed to support processes across all three key sales channels: e-commerce, retail and B2B. The system offered by PSI will optimise Empik’s logistics by boosting performance, reducing order lead times, and streamlining resource planning, thereby enhancing Empik’s supply chain efficiency.
The contract was signed in December 2017 and the project is to be phased in over two years.
