PSI Presenting Transportation Control Solutions at the 5th Public Transportation Innovation Congress in Freiburg.
Berlin, 4 February 2011 – PSI Transcom GmbH will be presenting their control systems for public transportation at the 5th Public Transportation Congress in Freiburg in Breisgau from 22 to 24 February 2011. In as well, the focus will centre on the discussion with customers and interested parties about the future of mobility.
Along with the client-capable control system PSItraffic/ITCS, with integrated real-time passenger information, PSI Transcom will be presenting the proven depot management system PSItraffic/Depot. The system supports and optimises the business processes and can be expanded with regard to the number of companies, depots, vehicles and personnel as needed. To track vehicles at the depots, PSI uses transponder systems and the latest RFID technologies which allow for the location of incoming and outgoing vehicles by means of sensors. Numerous PSI customers have already improved efficiency with the system.
Business aspects and the optimisation of processes for the use of vehicles are the focus of the PSI system solutions. The operations are planned and monitored from the workshop to the supply to disposition of vehicles. The solutions therefore provide an efficient use of the resources available and make savings potential visible.
