PSIPENTA manages maintenance processes for Airbus 340 at SR Technics
MRO service provider goes online with Planning, Execution and Control (PEC)
Berlin, 1 July 2011 – On 27 June 2011, following more than 1,000 process steps, Swiss aircraft maintenance and service experts SR Technics released the first aircraft (an Airbus 340) to be completely maintained using the new software by PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH.
In January 2010, the SR Technics Group commissioned PSIPENTA to implement comprehensive software to optimise the entire maintenance planning and execution process for the Switzerland and Malta sites. In conjunction with SAP, the solution provided by PSIPENTA handles the entire planning functionality. All modules, e.g. order management, the control station, slot planning, resource allocation and mobile response using three different devices went online in Zurich after just 12 months.
The Planning, Execution and Control (PEC) solution implemented comprises a modular software kit for planning, executing and controlling production and maintenance processes.
